I have had gym memberships in the past but as many know they tend to lose favour and after awhile and you end up paying lots of money for something you dont use. I have found the staff at Brighton Fitness very friendly and always willing to answer questions and help out. I would expecially like to thank Zoe, who I originally spoke to and who has encouraged me throughout the Challenge and Joel Bate, Personal Trainer who did my start and final assessments and trained me during the final weeks of the Challenge.
I excercised everyday, working around my work schedule. I have 2 dogs to look after, so I walk them each morning and night and would visit the gym each night after work. In the final 5 weeks of the Challenge, I had Personal Training sessions with Joel for half an hour once a week. I had not had PT sessions in the past and found them a great boost to my fitness. You work much harder in a shorter time but I found I could lift more weight, my endurance improved and also my body shape. I definitely recommend them if you want to seriously work to achieve improved health. Even if its once a fortnight it will certainly help.
I would recommend doing a Challenge to anyone wanting to improve their health. I found that as someone who could only run a short distance, a few hundred metres and be short of breath, I can now run a few kilometres and feel good about it. The benefits to me have been more than just physical health as it has improved my self confidence as well and I am sure this will continue to improve. Thank you to everyone at Brighton Fitness for their support.
